Automotive Service Advisor Jobs
Mike Bass Ford is actively searching for a personable and talented automotive service advisor to join our service department. Responsibility Summary
- Outstanding customer service including listening skills, ability to address concerns, and upbeat attitude
- Consult customers on the best course of action to repair their vehicles while providing unparalleled customer service
- Monitor progress of assigned vehicles and update customers accordingly
- Help department reach goals by maximizing retail promotions and driving sales
- Oversee technicians working on assigned vehicles and manage their time/efficiency, communicate on diagnosis and status, and place orders on needed parts
- Ensure vehicles are repaired in a timely manner and returned to customers once cleaned and verified that work has been completed

Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check and drug test are required
- Ability to lift as much as 50 lbs. and be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Minimum of 1-year experience as an automotive service advisor professional OR 3+ years as an automotive service technician
- Proficient with computers and technology – capable of learning new programs
- Ability to perform basic auto care tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
- Basic understanding/experience diagnosing issues with automobiles
